I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of System Engineering and Informatics, Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice. My professional passion lies in bridging the gap between technological security and the human factor.

Research & Projects

My research activities focus closely on Information Systems Usability (UX) and Data Security. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in several major grant projects supported by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, the Czech Science Foundation (GACR), and the Higher Education Development Fund (FRVS).

The results of my applied and basic research are regularly published in recognized international and local journals and presented at professional conferences.

Academic Vision

Technology alone is not enough if it is not understandable and secure for the end-user. In my teaching and research, I strive to ensure that the systems of the future are designed with consideration for the real cognitive abilities of people.
